Meet Gareth Bird

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Express Business Funding family, Gareth Bird. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the finance industry, decades of success-driven leadership, and a passion for innovation, we’re confident that Gareth will help us continue to grow and expand our business at unprecedented rates.

A South African born, Canadian resident, Gareth has worked with internationally acclaimed businesses. His most recent position was held as Director of Operations for a globally accredited skills development business. His business acumen and strong leadership helped to grow the company from a small, mid-scale enterprise into a colossal corporation training over 2000 students a year. He also oversaw and developed the establishment of over half a dozen sister companies across a range of industries, from Finance to Marketing.

As EBF’s Business Development Manager, Gareth will apply his previous learnings and be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key partners and stakeholders, and driving growth across all segments of our brand. He will be working closely with our superlative team to develop new products and services, and to ensure that we’re meeting the needs of our customers in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Further leveraging his wide skillset, Gareth will be finding increasingly dynamic ways to deliver our existing alternative financial solutions in new and pioneering ways.
